"Amur Leopard"

Watercolor on Canvas

22" x 28", matte & framed

SOLD. PRINTS AVAILABLE.

Amur Leopard (Panthera Pardus Orientals) is one of the worlds most endangered cats.  It is a solitary, nocturnal leopard that lived in the Amur River basin of Eastern Russia.  Now extinct from China and the Korean Peninsula, the few leopards that remain are critically endangered, and they are particularly vulnerable to extinction because the Amur leopards have the lowest levels of genetic variation of any leopard subspecies.
